Although the aims of Creative Chemistry range from ligand development to medicinal applications, all of management's objectives begin in the laboratory with solution phase chemical synthesis. Synthetic techniques will include both standard organic chemistry procedures for routine syntheses performed in air and Schlenk/glovebox techniques crucial to the success of anaerobic protocols. Common methods of characterization, including multi-nuclear NMR, UV-visible, and luminescence spectroscopies, mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography, and elemental analyses will be employed to ascertain the purity of target materials. Syntheses will always be tailored to maximize both yield and cost efficiency. Chemical syntheses have just gotten underway. As new materials are synthesized, they will appear on the website as items for sale (prices will initially be negotiable but will factor in labor and cost of raw materials). To make arrangements for purchase of chemicals, interested parties should contact Dr. Partyka
