Tomorrow's materials today

Dr. Partyka founded Creative Chemistry, LLC based on his keen interest in economics and the potential benefits that scientific advances offer the economy and society as a whole. While it is true that technological advances are ultimately spurred by scientific progress, it is also true that scientific progress is frequently made without a modicum of consideration for principles of economics. Therefore, it is through the synergistic combination  of both scientific and economic principles that Creative Chemistry develops innovative materials that can ultimately benefit all sectors of society.

On a more interpersonal level, Creative Chemistry recognizes the importance of a supportive, motivating workplace on the quality of personal performance, because excellent results and excellent co-workers are frequently, if not always, inseparable. It is for these reasons that Creative Chemistry is strongly committed to providing an equitable environment in which free discussion of professional ideas, perspectives, and alternative approaches is not just given lip service, but instead is a vital component of healthy workplace culture. Creative Chemistry encourages the professional development of its associates because this is inextricably and synergistically linked to the success of a socially responsible company, and vice versa. From a professional perspective, management wants to work and collaborate with associates and actively discourages a workplace mentality in which associates work for the company (please click the following link for an interesting, relevant report).
However, Creative Chemistry also recognizes that high-minded workplace principles do not necessarily enhance an associate's CV nor put money in an associate's pocket. Therefore, Creative Chemistry guarantees that any associate who has made a tangible contribution (as defined by open discussion with management) to the development of publishable or patentable research will be given fair recognition (via authorship) on a publication or patent. In addition, upon the achievement of certain benchmarks (as defined by open discussion with management), associates of Creative Chemistry will be granted equity ownership and (under certain circumstances) a percentage of royalties accrued. The company is not a charity, but management recognizes that loyalty is a two-way street.
